An off the beaten path adventure. Not overcrowded. The Agate Fossil Beds National Park has a very nice visitor center with lots of information about some of the first mammals to appear after the dinosaurs extinction. It is worth a stop and look. There is also an easy walking trail out to the Fossil beds. A great place for kids and adults that isnt overwhelming and crammed with tourists.
